The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has released a preliminary list of participants for their annual training camp held at the National Sport Training Centre in the National Sports Complex.
The list, signed by the Ministry’s Secretary of State Bun Sok on Monday, includes the names of 307 supervisors, coaches, assistant coaches and athletes from 18 disciplines proposed to join the camp, which is designed to prepare them for international competitions including the 27th SEA Games in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, next year.
The camp opens today and will run until October 31.
The disciplines include vovinam, shorinji kempo, wrestling, judo, English boxing, tennis, petanque, taekwondo (WTF and ITF), wushu, volleyball (beach and indoor), athletics, gymnastics, badminton, cycling and canoe/kayaking.
